CALL FOR TRAINING
The Commissioner General of Immigration announces to the young individuals who have been selected to join the Immigration Department to report to Raphael Kubaga Immigration Training Center, located in Boma Kichakamiba, Mkinga District, Tanga Region, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Anyone reporting to the training center after the specified time will not be admitted. Those who applied and were selected through the Immigration Commissioner in Zanzibar are required to report to the South Unguja Regional Immigration Office (Tunguu) on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REPORTING TO THE TRAINING CENTER
Each student is required to report with original academic and professional certificates. Any student without the required original documents will not be admitted. The required documents include:
Birth certificate
National Identification Card (NIDA) or NIDA number
Original academic certificates (Form Four, Form Six, and Degree)
Certificates of various skills (for those with additional qualifications)
ITEMS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRAINING
Each student must bring the following:
Tsh 50,400 for health insurance if they do not have a valid insurance card or if their insurance expires before December 31, 2025
Tsh 25,000 for medical checkups
Personal upkeep money
Two (2) black and dark blue tracksuits
Two (2) pairs of sports shoes (any color)
Three (3) sets of neat civilian clothing
Four (4) blue bed sheets
One (1) pillow
Two (2) blue pillowcases
One (1) blue mosquito net
Four (4) large 4QR notebooks
One (1) metal trunk
Two (2) plastic buckets (10L and 20L each)
Two (2) dark blue round-neck T-shirts
One (1) pair of rain boots
One (1) towel
One (1) pair of sandals
Cleaning tools:
One (1) hoe with a handle
One (1) slasher
One (1) machete
One (1) rake
The above items are available for purchase at the Training Center’s store for students who prefer to buy them on arrival.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Travel costs to the training center will be covered by the student.
A health check-up will be conducted before training begins. Those found to have medical issues will not be allowed to proceed with training.
