NOTICE FOR REPORTING TO MOSHI POLICE SCHOOL FOR SELECTED YOUTHS JOINING THE TANZANIA POLICE FORCE
1. The Inspector General of Police informs all youths selected to join the Tanzania Police Force that they are required to report to the Moshi Police School between 12th June 2025 and 14th June 2025 to commence training.
2. Those who were interviewed in Dar es Salaam under units based at the Police Headquarters should report in Dar es Salaam at the parade ground located at the Police Barracks on Kilwa Road, behind Kilwa Road Police Station, on 12th June 2025 at 6:00 a.m. for departure to Moshi Police School.
3. Those who were interviewed in Mainland Regions must report to their respective Regional Police Commanders where they were interviewed on 11th June 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for travel arrangements to Moshi Police School.
4. Those who were interviewed in Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba) should report at the Zanzibar Police Headquarters (Ziwani) on 11th June 2025 at 8:00 a.m. for travel arrangements.
5. All selected youths must report to Moshi Police School with the following items:
i) A blue tracksuit with a white stripe, a plain white t-shirt, sports shoes (rubber shoes), black socks, two blue sports shorts, and a blue metal trunk.
ii) A white round mosquito net (not rectangular), two pairs of light blue bed sheets (4 pieces total), a charcoal iron, and a plain grey blanket (not a duvet).
iii) A plastic mug made of bone-like material (cream light color) and one steel dish plate.
iv) Cleaning tools: One hoe with a handle, two small buckets, and a broom (chelewa type).
v) National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) card, if available, or cash of TZS 50,400 for those without NHIF.
vi) Original academic certificates, original birth certificate, NIDA card or NIDA number, copies of NIDA cards or NIDA numbers of parents or close relatives on both the father’s and mother’s sides (e.g., father, uncle, aunt, grandfather, etc.), six passport-size photos (blue background), and five photocopies of each of the above-mentioned certificates.
vii) Personal upkeep money.
6. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on campus. Any trainee found with a mobile phone will be considered indisciplined and will be immediately expelled from training. The school will provide communication arrangements.
7. Anyone who reports to Moshi Police School after 14th June 2025 will not be admitted and will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the training.
