Key Responsibilities
As a Library Assistant II, your duties will include:
Displaying new books and reading materials for public awareness
Shelving, filing, and issuing library books
Registering and guiding library users
Maintaining archives of newspapers and journals
Repairing and preserving library publications
Assisting readers in locating materials and retrieving relevant information
Preparing newspaper cuttings of importance to the Board
Responding to simple reader inquiries
Conducting basic bibliographical searches
Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications Required
Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE)
Certificate in Library Services or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Applicants should demonstrate good communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for information services.
