The Medical Officer In-Charge of Njombe Regional Referral Hospital invites qualified Tanzanian citizens with a passion and commitment to public service to apply for the following contract-based job positions:
✅ 1. Radiographer II – (2 Positions)
Minimum Qualifications:
Holder of a Diploma in Radiography (Radiographer II) from a government-recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain radiotherapy equipment and tools.
Provide radiographic services to patients as instructed.
Inspect and ensure quality control of radiation provided by radiotherapy machines.
Supervise junior staff within the department.
Provide technical advice related to radiography and radiation therapy.
Prepare diagnostic tools and oversee sterilization procedures in the department.
Provide basic training for newly assigned staff in the radiology unit.
Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
✅ 2. Receptionist II – (3 Positions)
Minimum Qualifications:
Holder of a Diploma in Reception, Customer Care Services, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Must have basic computer skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate patient records.
Track and update information on in-patient status.
Receive and guide patients through hospital procedures.
Welcome and direct visitors to appropriate offices or departments.
Collect initial patient information.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Open and manage patient files.
Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor in line with one’s qualifications and experience.
General Application Requirements (For All Applicants):
Must be 35 years of age or younger, and in good health.
Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with correct contact information and two government employee referees with reachable phone numbers.
Include two signed recommendation letters from the referees with their full addresses and contact numbers.
Submit certified copies of the following documents:
Birth certificate
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV)
Certificate of Advanced Secondary Education (Form VI) – if applicable
Academic/professional certificates
1 recent passport-size photograph
Valid license from relevant professional councils
Computer training certificate
