EMPLOYMENT ANNOUNCEMENT
The Commissioner General of Immigration, through the authority granted under Regulation Number 11(1) of the Immigration Administration Regulations of 2018, announces new job vacancies for the position of Immigration Constable for young Tanzanians with the following qualifications: -Internship opportunities list
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
i. Must be a citizen of Tanzania;
ii. Must not have been employed or ever employed by any Government Institution;
iii. Must have a Birth Certificate;
iv. Must have a National Identity Card (NIDA) or a NIDA identification number;
v. Must be in good physical and mental health;
vi. Must have never used illicit drugs;
vii. Must not have any record or information regarding involvement in criminal issues or acts;
viii. Must not have any marks or tattoos on their body;
ix. Must not be married or have a child;
x. An applicant with Form Four Education must have a pass from Division One (1) to Division Three (3) and be aged between 18 and 22 years. An applicant with a Certificate or Diploma must be aged between 18 and 25 years, and an applicant with a Bachelor's Degree/Higher Diploma must be aged between 18 and 30 years.
xi. Must be ready to attend initial Immigration Military training;
xii. Must be ready to work for the Immigration Department anywhere in Tanzania;
xiii. Must be ready to self-fund all stages of follow-up and the recruitment process.Immigration job listings
APPLICATIONS THAT WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY:
Priority will be given to applicants with professional qualifications at the level of Degree/Higher Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate from Government-recognized Colleges/Universities in the following fields: - International Languages Specialist, Administration, Law, Relations, ICT (Cyber Security, Database Developer, System Developer, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Records Management, Specialized Secretarial Studies, Accounting, Procurement and Supply registered with the Board, Statistics, Economics, Electricity, AC Technician, Brass band, Psychology Specialists, and Printer.
Also, applicants with skills in Auto Mechanics and Driving will be given priority.
HOW TO APPLY:
All job applications must be submitted through the Immigration Department website, which is https://www.immigration.go.tz starting from December 29, 2025, and the deadline for making applications is January 11, 2026.
During the application process, the applicant is required to attach (upload) to the recruitment system the following documents in PDF format (each document should not exceed 300Kb);
A recent passport-size photo in jpg/png format not exceeding 300Kb for uploading to the system;
A handwritten job application letter;
An introductory letter from the Local Government/Village or Shehia; for those in JKT/JKU camps, they must have introductory letters from the Camp Commander;
Birth certificate;
A National Identity Card (NIDA) or NIDA number for registration in the system;
Index numbers for Form Four and Form Six certificates which will be filled in the recruitment system;
An identification number for the Certificate, Diploma, and Bachelor's Degree/Higher Diploma recognized by TCU or NACTVET which will be filled in the recruitment system;
Professional registration certificates for fields requiring Board registration;
Applicant's Curriculum Vitae (CV).

CAUTION
(i) All applications will be received through the procedure outlined in Section 3 above and not otherwise;
