Job Vacancy: Wound Care Nurse
Kitengule Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Wound Care Nurse to join its clinical team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing various wound types, ensuring proper healing, and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage a variety of wounds, including surgical wounds, ulcers, burns, and traumatic injuries
Perform wound cleaning and dressing using sterile techniques
Monitor wound healing and detect signs of infection or complications
Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress reports
Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and hygiene
Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for effective patient management
Ensure infection prevention and control compliance
Qualifications and Requirements:
Registered Nurse (EN/ANO) from a recognized institution
Valid professional practicing license
Proven experience in wound care and dressing management
Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work under pressure and function effectively in a team environment
