Tanzania, has officially released the list of successful candidates selected to serve as contract (volunteer) Business Studies teachers in secondary schools across Tanzania.Tanzanian education resources

The announcement follows the recruitment of 400 contract teaching positions aimed at improving the teaching and learning of Business Studies in public secondary schools with critical staffing shortages.

About the Business Studies Teaching Project

The Business Studies Teaching and Learning Improvement Project is a partnership between TAMISEMI and Educate! Tanzania. The initiative is designed to strengthen Business Studies education in secondary schools by deploying qualified teachers to regions with the greatest need.

The project supports the implementation of the  Education and Training Policy of 2014 (2023 Edition) together with the revised Secondary Education Curriculum, which places greater emphasis on entrepreneurship education and practical business skills for students.

Regions Covered

The selected contract teachers have been assigned to secondary schools located in the following regions:

Arusha

Dar es Salaam

Dodoma

Geita

Kagera

Kilimanjaro

Manyara

Morogoro

Pwani

Simiyu

Tabora

Reporting Dates for Selected Teachers

All successful candidates are required to report to their assigned Local Government Authorities (Councils) to complete employment procedures.Tanzanian education resources

Reporting Period:

Start Date: 24 July 2026

End Date: 6 August 2026

Candidates are advised to report within the specified period. Any position that remains unclaimed after the reporting deadline may be allocated to another eligible candidate.
