Position: Relationship Officer II
Department: Retail & SME Banking

Salary Scale: COBSS 4 (Officer Level II)
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: Upcountry
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Responsible for creating, building and managing customer relationships and ensuring optimal selling of bank products to customers, creatively tailoring products to meet individual customer needs. Ensure branch sales budget is met by sourcing new-to-bank customers across segments including loans and deposits while ensuring excellent customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a portfolio of existing clients and cross-sell bank products as per assigned targets.
Recruit new-to-bank customers, grow the MSME portfolio through tailored financial solutions and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
Drive deposit growth, increase revenue and enhance customer satisfaction while ensuring full compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Deliver excellent banking services to customers.
Ensure quality customer experience through effective relationship management.
Ensure growth of quality loan portfolio in line with annual agreed targets.
Facilitate loan approval process by reviewing and verifying loan applications to ensure alignment with lending manuals and procedures.
Cross-sell bank products to existing and potential customers.
Establish weekly and monthly business pipelines and ensure timely submissions.
Support branch manager with inputs for branch sales-related budgets.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree in Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions with at least one (1) year working experience in the banking industry. Experience in direct sales or as a sales executive will be an added advantage.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of counterparties’ dynamics and related Tanzanian laws.
Excellent understanding of banking operations and financial markets.
Strong knowledge of market and business environments in the banking value chain.
Self-motivated, innovative and able to initiate and lead change.
Strong customer relationship skills and knowledge of loan products, policies and procedures.
Excellent communication, numerical, analytical and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Reports to: Chief Manager Risk Management
Location: Dar es Salaam
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Develop and implement ICT risk management policies, procedures and guidelines ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Ensure compliance with information security policies and ensure non-compliance issues are documented and addressed with corrective and preventive measures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise on information security risks related to operational practices and conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
Collaborate with ICT teams to evaluate new technologies, systems and applications for potential risks.
Provide training and support to staff on ICT risk management and security best practices.
Conduct information security awareness programs.
Perform user access reviews as the second line of defense.
Verify security solutions implementation according to TCB policies.
Support identification and management of ICT and operational risks.
Review and investigate information technology incidents.
Maintain and update incident logs.
Ensure effective implementation of policies and communication of new regulations.
Coordinate and consolidate risks and loss reporting to management.
Provide periodic reports on information security operationalization.
Design and implement control measures and monitoring plans.
Ensure adherence to the risk management framework.
Mitigate risks associated with new or changed products, services or business strategies.
Review quality of controls and validate Key Risk Indicators.
Develop, update and manage the Bank’s Risk Register.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting or Finance), Risk, Actuarial Sciences, Insurance, Statistics or related fields from recognized institutions with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience.
