937,581 students Selected for Form One 2026
ANNOUNCEMENT
A total of 937,581 students, equivalent to 100 percent of all eligible candidates, have been selected to join Form One in 2026 and have been allocated schools.
These students are those who sat for the Primary School Leaving Examination in 2025 and scored a total pass mark between 121 and 300.
The school allocations come at a time when parents are required to ensure that all selected students report to their respective schools and remain there until they complete Form Four.
This was explained today, December 4, 2025, by the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office for Regional Administration and Local Government (Tamisemi), Professor Riziki Shemdoe, while addressing the press about the student selection exercise.
Professor Shemdoe stated that the selection of students joining Form One for the 2026 academic year was conducted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
