JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Director of Korogwe Town Council announces to qualified Tanzanians seven (7) vacant posts approved by the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance. Applications are invited for the following positions:

1.1 RECORDS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT GRADE II – 3 POSTS

1.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Listing incoming correspondence in the incoming correspondence register.

ii. Listing outgoing correspondence from the institution in the outgoing correspondence register.

iii. Distributing files to action officers.

iv. Receiving files returning from action officers.

v. Searching for records/documents/files required by action officers.

vi. Returning files to the file racks/filing cabinets.

vii. Tracking the movement of files within the Institution

Must be a Form IV or Form VI leaver with a Certificate/Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Records Management from a government-recognized institution and must possess computer application skills.

1.2 DRIVER GRADE II – 4 POSTS

1.2.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Must possess a Form IV Certificate, a Class E or C driving license, and a driving experience of not less than one year without causing an accident. Must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or another Government-recognized College.

1.2.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to determine its safety condition.

ii. Transporting staff to various locations on official trips.

iii. Performing minor vehicle maintenance.

iv. Collecting and delivering various documents.

v. Filling out and maintaining trip records in the logbook.

vi. Cleaning the vehicle.

vii. Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

1.2.3 SALARY LEVEL

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS

i. Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.

ii. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must indicate their disability in the Recruitment System.

iii. Driver applicants with Class E or C licenses must attach driving training certificates.

iv. Applicants must attach a comprehensive CV with reliable contact details and three referees.

v. Current Public Servants employed in non-established positions should not apply.

vi. Applicants must attach certified copies of academic and professional certificates, including Form IV/Form VI certificates and all relevant training certificates.

vii. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statements of Results, and examination slips will not be accepted.

viii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must have their certificates verified by TCU, NECTA, or NACTE.

ix. Voluntarily retired Public Servants are not eligible unless permitted by the Chief Secretary.

x. Forged documents or false information will lead to legal action.

xi. The deadline for submitting applications is 30th November, 2025.
